God or Absurdity Revolutions Unpublished

Today (Monday 19th of December) God or Absurdity Revolutions was unpublished by Facebook. This is the 3rd page we've had unpublished by Facebook. (The first page to be shut down was God or Absurdity, and the second page shut down was God or Absurdity Reloaded.)

I've appealed the decision, but based on past experience the appeal is almost certainly going to be ignored by Facebook. So from this point on we're on to what was our backup page - God or Absurdity Online. (I'm currently locked out from the page until my 3 day ban expires on one of my accounts).

The cover pic for the now unpublished page

After well over a month of not having any problems with facebook censorship I had two posts removed within the space of about an hour. With that being the case it seems highly likely to me that atheist trolls have a secret group that they use to organize reporting raids on us.

The first thing to be removed today was this:

And the second thing to be removed shortly after that was this post:

So now altogether we've had 34 posts censored and removed by Facebook. For the documented blog accounting for every single one of those 34 posts see
Is God or Absurdity the Most Censored Page Ever? (34 Banned Posts). Most of the banned posts are either exposing the evil of abortion or the evil of Islam.

All of this censorship is just going to backfire in the long term on those who keep taking us down. I've been in touch with Christian reporters and there is one reporter who has expressed interest in this story.

Professed atheists in particular hate our page because of the presuppositional apologetics we use and how we expose the absurdity as well as the evil consequences of denying God. There are few other pages on Facebook that do what we do in the way that we do it, and I'm pretty sure that God or Absurdity is the most censored ministry on Facebook.

If you'd like to support this ministry financially I'd love to hear from you. (See www.godorabsurdity.com/donate.html)

Is God or Absurdity the Most Censored Facebook Page Ever? (37 Banned Posts)

Given the number of times I've been banned from Facebook and had memes and posts censored on Facebook, I have to wonder if my Facebook page is the most censored page ever. So far we've had 2 pages unpublished by Facebook (God or Absurdity was the first to be totally shut down and removed, and then God or Absurdity Reloaded was also shut down and unpublished), so now we're on to our third page (God or Absurdity Revolutions), which is also getting hit with censoring and bans.
(UPDATE 27 Dec 2016: God or Absurdity Revolutions has also been shut down now. We're on to our 4th and 5th pages - God or Absurdity Online, and God or Absurdity Resurrected).

If anyone knows of any page that has been censored or banned more than our page then let us know.
Altogether so far we've had 36 times where we've had posts banned, and these have often resulted in admins ending up having their accounts banned - sometimes for up to 30 days.

This is what it looks like when you're in 'facebook jail' and you try and post anything:

So far I only know of one other page that is possibly more censored than ours (Exposing Islam), but it's debatable as to whether they've been censored more than us or not. So here is a list of every meme and post that has been censored so far from our pages (in chronological order of when they got banned. Click images to enlarge, and click links for more details):

Islam is Peace Meme Censored by Facebook

I posted this meme on the God or Absurdity Revolutions Facebook page earlier today, and a few hours later it was censored by Facebook and I was slapped with yet another 30 day ban on one of my accounts.

It's been several months since this last happened, and I was beginning to wonder if Facebook had come to their senses and realised that it's not a good idea to censor ideas just because some people don't like them - but no - obviously not.

Facebook seem to have made it their mission to censor our page because we are a conservative Christian page that is speaking against Islam and abortion. They went so far as to totally shut down and delete our first two pages. Meanwhile they have no problem with pages that any sane person would say clearly breaches their standards - such as pages that advocate burning churches.

Truth sure has become the new hate speech. The meme that was censored today is the ironic and horrifying truth about Islam. It actually does call for all Muslims to wage violent jihad if you actually look at the Quran and example of Muhammad.

Please consider sharing this blog post - because it's the politically incorrect truth about Islam that the mainstream media aren't saying.

Also, here's the original meme in case you want to reshare it.

Pokemon and Pokemon Go - Dangerous Occult Game

One of the fundamentals of good mental health is: "Having WORTHY & ACHIEVABLE GOALS BY WHICH TO PROGRESS YOUR LIFE, which in turn enables a strong sense of hope for the future. Sick thinkers make no progress and waste their lives." (David Riddell - Living Wisdom)

Pokemon = POcKEt MONsters (aka Pocket Demons).

Recently people have been going crazy about the new augmented reality game called Pokemon Go.

In case you aren't familiar with the game, the idea is that you download the app onto your smartphone and then it connects with Google Maps and sends you on a kind of treasure hunt that can lead you all over town.

It's surpassed Twitter even for the current number of active daily users, and even many Christians seem to be going nuts over it. I've been blocked from one Christian page for posting a link to an article that exposes Pokemon for what it is (see the CARM article at the bottom of this blog post), and other Christian pages have deleted my comments. There have been many angry Christians that have unfollowed our God or Absurdity Revolutions page because they can't handle being challenged about Pokemon.

Pokemon originated in Japan, and as someone that used to live in Japan (for 4 years) and having studied Japanese culture and religions (in particular Shintoism), it seems clear to me that Pokemon is deeply rooted in the Shinto and evolutionary worldview that dominates the Japanese worldview. In Shintoism there are many false gods that are worshiped and there are Shinto shrines all over the place in Japan. (I even once saw a shrine next to a noodle restaurant that was dedicated to the "Ramen kami" (noodle god)!) But from a Christian point of view we know that those gods are idols and behind them are demons. This is why many Japanese people also believe in ghosts and many believe they have seen ghosts - but they are really seeing demons.

However, even from a natural point of view there are serious concerns surrounding Pokemon Go.

Here's some examples of Pokemon Go news:

* Pokemon Go: Armed robbers use mobile phones to lure players into trap - The Guardian.

* Pokemon Go Is Already Sending People to the Hospital - Vocativ.

* Pokemon Go app could be used by pedophiles to lure unsuspecting young players - Daily Mail Online.

The game is aimed at youth, who are ending up wandering around outside in potentially dangerous areas of town and often not carefully watching where they are going. It's also quite addictive and you can end up wasting a lot of time playing the game.

Pokemon is Occultic

The reason for this is that Pokemon is based around occult themes. The best article I've found so far is from CARM in an article by Matt Slick which I've copied and pasted below:

Pokemon: What is it?

by Matt Slick
Pokemon, which is short for "pocket monster," has become a phenomenal success in America among children.  There are cartoons and even a movie based upon the Pokemon characters.  Almost every child in America is familiar with this fad and owns some form of Pokemon paraphernalia. But, what is Pokemon?
Pokemon was created by Nintendo in Japan in 1996.  It is a role-playing game involving cards, Nintendo Game Boy, and TV cartoons.  The cards have pictures of different Pokemon on them, more than 150 so far.  The Pokemon are supposed to be "monsters" that have special powers and share the world with humans.  The idea of the game is to have the children learn how to collect as many Pokemon as possible, train them, and use them against other people's Pokemon by invoking the various abilities of each Pokemon creature.  Pokemon can evolve and pass through various levels, 100 being the highest.  Colored energy cards are sometimes used to aid the Pokemon.

There are four basic types of cards.

  1. Basic Pokemon cards which depict creatures that fight for you against other people's Pokemon.
  2. Evolution cards depict Pokemon that are able to evolve into more powerful creatures.
  3. Energy cards are united with other cards to give the Pokemon more energy needed in carrying out the trainer's orders.
  4. Trainer cards are cards used one time and then discarded.
There are different types or categories of Pokemon: Bug, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Dragon, Electric, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, and Water.  Within each type are several different Pokemon, each possessing various abilities.  I've constructed a chart below of some of the categories of Pokemon.

Type of
Pokemon

Various abilities

Fire

Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Flareon, Growlithe, Magmar, Moltres, Ponyta, Rapidash, Vulpix, Ninetails Scorching, heating, running, stomping, racing,
Electric Electabuzz, Jolteon, Magnemite, Magneton, Pikachu, Raichu, Voltorb, Electrode, Zapdos Lightning bolts, anti-gravity, explosions,
Ghost Gastly, Haunter, Gengar Ultra dimensional, poison, mimicry, taunting
Poison Ekans, Arbok, Grimer, Muk, Koffing, Weezing, Nidoran(Female),Nidorina, Nidoqueen, Nidoran(Male), Nidorino, Nidoking Silence, stealth, use of poison, use of claws and biting, breaking opponents' bones.
Psychic Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Drowsee, Hypno, Jynx, Mew, Mewtwo, Mr. Mime Reading minds, teleportation, inducing headaches, high intelligence, consumes people's dreams, hypnosis, confusion, evolves.

Within the game, evolution is taught repeatedly.  There are special stones (Fire, Leaf, Moon, Thunder, and Water) that can be used to force some Pokemon to evolve into more powerful creatures.  Of course, after normal development in skill learning, various Pokemon often evolve on their own.

Is Pokemon Dangerous?

Is Pokemon dangerous?  Potentially, yes it is.  It conditions the child who plays the game into accepting occult and evolutionary principles.  Haunter can hypnotize, eat a person's dreams, and drain their energy.  Abra reads minds.  Kadabra emits negative energy that harms others.  Gastly induces sleep. Gengar laughs at peoples' fright.  Nidoran uses poison.  The Psychic type of Pokemon are among the strongest in the game.  Charmander, Haunter, Ivysaur, Kadabra, and many more evolve.  The children are taught to use these creatures to do their will by invoking colored energy cards, fights, and commands. Much of it is reminiscent of occult and eastern mysticism.
The Bible says to "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6).1 2 Chron. 33:6 says, "And he made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger."
I do not see how allowing children to play with games that encourage fighting, reading of minds, use of poison, mimicry, taunting, teleportation, hypnosis, and evolution can be a good thing.  This is not training a child to righteousness, it is accepting the occult and secular evolution.  Is this what we, as Christians, want our children to meditate on?  Of course not.
If children are conditioned to accept these things in youth, then they will be more likely to accept these ideas in adulthood.  This leads people away from God's word and truth, not toward it.  This is dangerous to a person's eternal destiny.

More Information

  • On the Pokemon rules website it states, "Carry your Pokemon with you, and you're ready for anything! You've got the power in your hands, so use it!"
  • One observer of children playing the game said the children would afterwards mimic the game by summoning the Pokemon to attack others.  This is occultic.
  • Pokemon are summoned to do battle and to protect.  This is equivalent to sorcery.
  • Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water are frequent elemental themes found in Pagan religions, witchcraft, and Wicca, and are used heavily in Pokemon.
The spiritual side of the world is real.  There are spiritual elements and demonic forces at work, whose purpose is to lead astray and destroy:
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places," (Eph. 6:12).
The enemy is powerful and cunning.  The only light we have is the Bible, and we need to follow it and not give ourselves or our children into the hands of those who would introduce occultic principles in a role-playing game.  Again, the Bible says...
"But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons," (1 Tim. 4:1).
There is nothing wrong with children having fun and using their imaginations, but when that fun involves the occult it is dangerous.  As Christians, we should be very concerned about what our children are involved in since they can be so easily influenced.  They don't need the influence of the occult or evolutionary theory to help them towards Christ.  They need the truth.

You are over-reacting

Addendum - two months later:
This article has generated some interesting responses.  I've been called delusional, bigoted, paranoid, and one who contributes to the decline of society because of my intolerant comments about an innocent and fun child's game.  One mother, who claimed to be a Christian, emailed me with heavy complaints and accusations and sought to justify her actions in encouraging her children to watch Pokemon.  Well, that is her prerogative.
Have I changed my opinion?  Not at all.  Am I delusional, bigoted, paranoid, and a contributor to social decay?  I certainly hope not.  And from what I see in God's word and from what I have seen in Pokemon, I still stand on what I have said.
I expect people to not like it when their comfort zone is rattled, when I don't tote the secular line and salute to "harmless children's games," even when they teach occultism.  By the way, I told the Christian mother that the Lord will hold her accountable for how her children are raised.  I asked her if she wants to continue to encourage her children to play with cards that teach casting spells, evolution, and controlling forces to do your bidding.  She emailed me back and called me some names.
Others have simply assumed a non-Christian perspective and made judgments about me and this article from their non-Christian point of view.  That isn't a problem.  They are entitled to their opinions, as am I.
Is Pokemon good?  I don't think so.  Does it contribute to impressionable children accepting occult ideas?  Yes, it does.

Another comment

I would like to thank you for your stand against Pokemon and other such materials. I understand how you feel when confronted by supposed "christians" who oppose what your trying to do here. I think that it's a sad time we live in when even the church members want to go around doing what seems right in there own eyes, and the tell you it's o.k. because "we're under grace so we don't need to follow the rules anymore". Let me say this, the majority of the problems we're facing today in christianity are here because of the lack of strong leadership. Most pulpits today are delivering feel good sermons that have little spiritual effect, while our remaining power dwindles away due to the gross sins being committed right under our noses. I personally have been in churches that were supposedly "filled with the annointing" and watched the children in the seats in front of me playing Pokemon & Dungeons and Dragons while the parents "worshipped God". Pretty sad.
But, let me encourage you to continue fighting the good fight and not budge even one inch in your convictions.  Many times people in the church talk about unity, which is important, but not at the cost of compromise.  We will all stand before the Lord and give an account for every word and action, so let the truth shine out of you without reservation!
The church needs some warriors today who will stand up for what the Word of God tells us is right, regardless of any mans' opinions.  Be that warrior!
Remember, the fear of man is a snare to your soul!  God Bless, David

Testimony

I also received this testimony from a fan of our facebook page:

Before I was saved, I considered myself an avid gamer of some sort, I've played a wide variety of games, mostly RPGs including the renowned titles such as the Witcher series, Dark Souls, The Elder Scrolls, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and several more titles in the same shade as these games, and Pokemon. As a freshman college student, I spent about $200 on all those digital games I bought from Steam and play them for several hours a day.Given the quite dark nature of these games, I was 'conscious' of God back then (but my only thought that I was saved and could sin all I want, and get to Heaven), but I never took it seriously, when I played these games, I used various excuses like "at least these games will teach me morals", "these games can show me some styles in self-defense", "these games can keep me from thinking of food", it wasn't far from addiction, it became my drug, my everything, I once thought if it was real, it could be my bride. Then I bought myself a Bible, it was quite hard to get into, I mean the habit of reading, but after a successful combination of different Internet resources and being careful in discerning what is and what isn't I managed to get a grasp of Jesus. Then like a miracle, my attitude changed, and my hours of playing diminished gradually, until I resorted to deleting all of my games from my system, seeing it consumed a large amount of space; it was replaced with fervor to preach to the lost.

In conclusion, as Christians we are called to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, and that includes calling people to repent of their sin and to follow Christ the King and submit to his ways. These aren't just rules but are a relationship with Christ where we want to follow his ways because we respect His word, His truth, and accept that behind any rules and commands in scripture there are good reasons that involve what is best for us and for all people.

Christina Drake says
I don’t mean to be a downer, however, the name Pokemon brings back devastating memories.
Up until 2008, my children loved Pokemon… Always received the cards and toys from me and other relatives. Pokemon was “in”.
One of my children had a history of night terrors that not even medicine could help with. Countless nights waking up to him streaming eyes wide open yet still in his dream.
I became a Christian in 2008 and attended a very informative life giving church.
I had learned about how real demons are and how dangerous they can be when we open doors to them.
Long story short…my son, during one of his night terrors, pointed to the sofa and could hardly speak because of the terror he was feeling….he named the Pokemons he saw life size on the sofa…I went to our pastor and told him what was going on and did some research on Pokemon
I was horrified to discover the names of the Pokemons were names of ancient demons…children accross the world were summonsing these Pokemons on the playground and some had been hurt…
I then followed instructions from my pastor and prayed the blood of Jesus around my home and over my children and bound the demons and cast them away from us.
Since then my son never had another night terror and behavior problems my children were taking medication for…progressively left and the early on were free of medication!
Not only is Pokemon no longer allowed in my family… Neither is Digimon or Dragonball z.
I now am extremely watchful of what my children watch, listen to, or do.
Demons are more real than anyone wants to admit to and they are subtle as Satan was in the garden of Eden.
I’m not saying everyone must do what we did, but I’m just testifying to what I have seen and experienced.
Father God says His people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge…
Please prayerfully consider what dangers may come from Pokemon and any other games that appeal to your children.

POST EDIT: It should come as no surprised that U.S. statistics show a 1600% increase in paganism / wicca in recent times, which could very well make it the fastest growing religion in the USA.
